What is the championship schools tennis leagues?

The championship schools tennis league gives local children the opportunity to represent their schools and play regular competitive tennis against other schools in the area. At the end of the session the team with the most league points will be awarded the Kent and Surrey schools tennis championship trophy, to be held until the following season.

When is it held?

The Kent and Surrey schools tennis championship league run over three seasons in the year:

  • April - July
  • September - November
  • January - March

How does my child get involved?

If your child's school is already affiliated with Matchpoint Tennis Club we will assist with team selection and team training.  If your child's school is not affiliated with Matchpoint Tennis Club please contact reception to find out how to get involved.

Why get involved?

Team based tennis is an integral part of your child's tennis development, teaching children that when playing for a team its about collective team work, supporting and helping each other and generally giving encouragement with a positive can-do approach.
